I offer a bespoke, individually tailored treatment plan, drawing on evidence-based psychological approaches. I am experienced in using Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Mindfulness, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Compassion Focussed Therapy (CFT). I also regularly draw upon ideas from Psychodynamic and Systemic Therapy to inform my practice.  The models and frameworks that I draw upon in my work with clients will depend on the difficulties you are bringing to therapy and the changes that you would like to see. 

I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation with no obligation. I am committed to providing a safe therapeutic space, and bring warmth and honesty to my therapeutic work. 

Online Therapy

I am now predominantly working online, and I have received feedback that the transition to online working for clients has felt equally as helpful. I have found that this way of working creates less distractions for people and can be more convenient. I also offer walking therapy outdoors.

Walking Therapy

Walking therapy has become increasingly popular since the COVID-19 pandemic. Following online assessment, I can either offer a range of online and outdoor therapy sessions, or some choose to have all sessions outdoors.

There are many benefits for walking therapy. Not only can it be helpful for those who may feel intimidated by the traditional environment of a one-to-one session, research shows that movement of the body, and a change of environment can help with feelings of being 'stuck', and offers further space and opportunity for reflection. Furthermore, with the increase in online home working, many people are keen to move away from another zoom call, and meeting outside may feel like a welcome alternative. I am keen to work in a way that suits you best, so please discuss this with me if you'd like any further information. It's fine if you'd like a mix of walking sessions and online.

Supervision and Consultation

I offer online clinical supervision to other mental health professionals and qualified psychologists. I can also offer consultation to teams and organisations.
